  • I’m excited to announce that I’ll be showing off my recent custom steel-string guitars at “Wintergrass”, a four-day, family-friendly bluegrass, Americana, roots and acoustic music festival in Bellevue, Washington. This will be my third time at this incredible festival that showcases fine musicians and luthiers from around the world. There are excellent concerts and dances on four different stages, as well as music education programs for kids and adults, workshops, and impromptu jams. It is always an excellent time, hope I see you there!
  • Been working pretty hard lately and really needed a shot of river time to balance things out. So, my buddy Nelson and I played hooky and drifted down through the canyon on the south fork of the Snake River a couple of days ago. There was a bit of smoke from the fires west of us but it blew over us and didn’t drop down into the canyon so we got lucky there. The wildlife was incredible, Baldies, Sandhill Cranes, Kingfishers, Osprey, Merganzers, Coots, horses and Moose. Duo Katie Weed and Nakos Marker dropped by my booth at Wintergrass 2022 and took a few minutes to talk and play.  Nakos enjoyed my lovely baritone dreadnought, while Katie was drawn to my regular sized dreadnought.  Here’s a short video of them road testing them.  Enjoy!
