Wintergrass Music Festival is a really great festival put on by Acoustic Sound who are committed to preserving and promoting traditional acoustic American music through presentation and education, with special attention given to the bluegrass music community.
They recognize that Bluegrass is as much a community of people as it is a genre of music. In all that they do, they are committed to fostering and maintaining the sense of community from which the music sprang.
I am so pleased to be a part of Wintergrass this year and I’ll be showing off some of my recent steel string guitars, including a beautiful baritone I call “Abraxas”. I’m putting the finishing touches on her now so she’ll be at the show. Please drop by my booth and introduce yourself and say hello, I would love to meet you.
There is also a wonderful lineup of great live entertainment including: Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn, Darrell Scott, The Kruger Brothers, We Banjo Three, Kate Lee & Forrest O’Connor, John Reischman & the Jaybirds, Väsen, The Special Consensus, Trio Brasileiro, Che Apalache, I Draw Slow, The Appalachian Roadshow, The Barefoot Movement among so many others. It will be an awesome time!
